gxfc, part 2

This is the concluding part-2 of the story, continuation of the first part.

The Taang people, with their mastery of capitalism and psycho-technologies, had reached a plateau in their pursuit of a better standard of living. Their reliance on the spell gxfc to generate wealth had inadvertently created a society that prioritized money over knowledge, hindering the creation of new inventions and advancements.

While money could undoubtedly buy goods, it could not purchase the superior epistemic states required for groundbreaking innovation. The Taang people had mistaken wealth for a better standard of living, overlooking the crucial role of knowledge in progress.

Intangible forms of value (new knowledge) often defied quantification, making them incompatible with the Taang people's monetary system. The spell gxfc, with its emphasis on financial gain, stifled the exploration and creation of these intangible assets.

As the Taang people continued to seek external means of improving their lives, they inevitably encountered the limitations of relying solely on material possessions. Their pursuit of superior epistemic states, the key to unlocking new levels of existence, was obstructed by their ingrained belief in money as the ultimate goal.

The realization of this inherent contradiction would eventually dawn upon the Taang people. They would recognize that gxfc, their once-celebrated spell, had become a hindrance to their progress. However, they had a hard time overcoming this hurdle when their lack a superior value system to replace their money-centric worldview.

The older generation, burdened by the weight of tradition and wealth, found themselves ill-equipped to embark on this quest for a new guiding principle. The younger generation, while possessing the energy and potential for change, was constrained by the limitations of existing philosophies, which lacked the flexibility to accommodate the paradigm shift required.

Despite that, the seeds of change were sown. There existed small but scattered group of Taang people, recognizing the limitations of their current path, embarked on a journey to uncover a new source of value, one that transcended material wealth.

The Taangs, despite their shortcomings, stand as the sole group capable of genuinely elevating living standards. However, the hope rests solely and silently on the shoulders of their elite members.
