Insomnia
I was plagued with insomnia this past week. It had happened before and will happen again.
By now I'm convinced what will kill me in old age wouldn't be heart disease or cancer, it'd be brain damage aided by insomnia.
I wonder if it's a first-world problem. I'm willing to bet that the rate of insomnia is much lower among blue collar workers.
I can't point to what caused this on my end. The only upside is that I get to slack off without guilt.
I might have to make it a major project of mine to track down the root causes and remedies. Cute little optimization tricks (dark room, cool temperature, cut blue lights) are for amateurs. I'm in search of hardcore strategies that will guarantee to knock one out by 12am.
