Always inverse & the road to hell
Apparently Charlie Munger has a mantra: "always invert", referring to common techniques, cliches and advices. Try do the opposite of what's recommended and see if it works.
I wanna make an audit into beliefs, practices, value systems I was given (that's not earned) that went unquestioned for too long.
It's not as easy as it sounds. This is like a fish looking for water; it's everywhere but can't be seen.
If I manage to find them, I'm curious if I manage to temporarily abandon them and do exactly the opposite.
It's not quite the same thing as teenage rebellion; the motivation there is mostly angst.
Here though is an examination on how much alpha/edges has been shaved away by wholesomeness and playing it too straight.
