What Interests Me This Week

I've always wondered what people see in western classical music.

I'm like a blind man hearing about the magnificence of the Sistine Chapel. It's a form of illiteracy, you don't know what you've missed until you learn to read.

In the past I've tried searching "classical music appreciation" and see what can YouTube offered me. What I got was musical theories, it's a total turn off.

Lately I've found a playlist that has potential. I'm starting learn what to look for in a piece.

Which leads me to conclude that classical music is to pop music what TikTok videos are to feature length films.
