Learning SFV Vega

While picking up Street Fighter I started out using Ryu then transitioned Ken. Not because I like him more but his design suited me better.

Over time I found out that there are so many Ken players, my moves are going to be entirely predictable if I'm the inferior Ken fighter (which is most of the time). This may or may not be the wrong way of thinking. Maybe it wouldn't matter either way but it feels true.

So I tried out Sagat. To my suprise his combos are not great. I know that looking at how top Sagat players do it.

And then I arrived at Vega. His moves are unique, possible combos are pretty decent (but still nothing like Ken's Shinryuken).

So I've been training with Vega for some time now. I'm capable of mediocre combos, good enough to beat moderately hard computer opponents, sometimes.

I wonder at which point should I start venturing into the wild again and test my skills against human fighters. Ideally it should be yesterday but I'm not sure I want to spend my stress budget on this as opposed to real life issues.
