What Interests Me This Week

Learning and executing combos in Street Fighter is probably the closest thing I will ever get to skillfully playing a musical instrument.

I've been at it the past week, opening up a whole new field of unknown-unknowns.

I have no business justification for this other than the fact that repetitive practice allows me to passively consume audio research materials.

I suspect the fun of learning SF might peak here. This phase is about turning unknown-knowns into known-knowns.

The rest of the journey (in anything at all) will be about mastery, which turns known-knowns into unknown-knowns. This is usually painfully pricy, few are willing to pay it, sometimes for good reasons.
